January 29, 2009 - Six Months Old!

Disappointingly I didn't get any 6 month pictures taken of Annabelle. I had really wanted to but it just didn't happen. The boys had a birthday party that night so thankfully some one snapped these pictures of us. She was such a sweetie at the party, talking and flirting with everyone.

I really admire those Mom's, especially the ones with more than one child that are able to document their family life so well. I am trying, but always seem to be so behind. I had planned to try and stay on top of this "baby book" with daily or weekly entries. Writing in the moment is so much more emotion filled than trying to remember what happened 2 weeks prior. Oh well, something is better than nothing right.

PT at Tucker on January 28, 2010

This was our 2nd week with the new physical therapist, Emi. She is super nice and seems very excited to work hard and creatively with Annabelle. Annabelle will see her once at week at Tucker school through the California MTU.

Check out these videos of my little girl working so hard.

Annabelle literally makes "friends" everywhere we go. It's so funny how people are drawn to her happy smile. They always stop and say hi, ask how old she is, etc. They always comment on how cute she is and happy she seems. I love it because we think she's super cute, but I'm guessing we are a bit biased so when a stranger says she's cute you figure it's got to be true.

Tooth # 2 is here!!

Can you believe it? Not even 6 months old yet and two teeth. They are so stinking cute I wish I could get a picture.

Sneak peek at the tooth

If you look super close you can sort of see her adorable little tooth amongst the rice cereal in her mouth. She is such a happy baby. We are SO blessed!

Annabelle's food menu is expanding

Today we started rice cereal mixed with mommy's milk. She likes it ALOT!! We are keeping our fingers crossed that it doesn't bring the constipation back.

giggles, giggles and more giggles

The boys LOVE making Annabelle laugh and she really loves to laugh. Check out this video of her laughing at her silly brothers.

They are so blessed to have one another and I am so blessed to have them.

First Tooth - 1/7/10

It's SO stinking cute I can hardly stand it. It popped through this morning and she is so much happier now that it's officially on this side of her gums. We could see that it was trying to make an appearance for a while now and are glad it's here. She seems intrigued by it and has been feeling it with her tongue all morning. It's on the bottom and it looks as if the one right next to it is going to pop up soon as well.

I remember trying to get a picture of Jack's first tooth and how horribly silly that went so needless to say there are no pictures of her tooth yet.

Carrots were on today's menu - 1/5/10

and Annabelle's face :-)

Eating and being at the table together is quickly becoming the fun thing to do. We are so happy she enjoys being at the table with us.

Annabelle's Funny Faces - 1/4/10

Annabelle is beginning to enjoy spending more time on the floor with her toys. This helps so much when I need to get stuff done and need my hands free :-0

All that PT is really paying off - she is super strong!

Annabelle at Pretend City

We took the kids to Pretend City in Irvine on Benjamin's birthday (1/2). I know these pictures are a bit old, but I thought they were to cute not to share. Annabelle was only 5 months old in these pictures.

I have to admit that I was a little bugged that they charged admission for Annabelle, but as you can see she had a great time. It was a really fun place and we look forward to going back.

Waiting to see the Snoopy on Ice show

She is such a sweet little girl. Words can not even describe how much we love her.

New Year and new experiences (1/1/10)

Unfortunately, we had been struggling a lot with Annabelle's constipation so after trying a few things (massage, juice and a suppository) and having little success we decided it was time to bring out the big guns - prunes! Our goal is to be able to manage her poopie or lack of poopie situation without medication if possible.

I know, the spoon was a bit big for her first feeding but it was all I had handy. Branden quickly got me a new spoon and Annabelle seemed to do a lot better. She actually liked the prunes much better than I had expected.

Isn't great to see how excited Benjamin was for his sister.
